Privacy policy

PickleDraw AU (thepickledraw.com) is operated by Anton von Aulock, Davidson NSW, Australia (“we”, “us”). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Newsletter: if you subscribe (once the newsletter launches), your email address and the date you signed up.
• Messages and submissions: anything you send to hello@thepickledraw.com or through the “list your tournament” form, such as your name, email and event details.
• Analytics: basic, aggregated usage data (pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, approximate country) to understand how the site is used. We aim to use privacy-friendly analytics that don’t track you across other websites.

How we use it

To send the newsletter you asked for, reply to enquiries, publish tournament listings you submit, and improve the site. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We use a small number of service providers to run the site (hosting, email newsletter and analytics) who process data on our behalf; some may store it outside Australia. We may disclose information if required by law.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing hello@thepickledraw.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
